What is the best swim wear for breaststroke?

speedo, jammer, or legskins that covers up the entire leg|||It is personal preference really. Whatever you feel comfortable in. Some people feel like the full legs restrict their kick. I on the other hand like them.|||Aerodynamics doesn't appear to be much of an issue in the breaststroke. Legskins or Fastskins seem to be constrictive to the legs and arms. Briefs would seem the best to me, much more comfortable, swimming is work. Jammers, just not comfortable for work, OK for play at an outdoor pool or water park.|||speedo or jammer. most of the guys i see swimming are in jammers.|||its pretty much personal preference|||With breaststroke i think it would be a speedo. To me it always made sense that legskins or other full body covers hurt you because the water is suppose to run right off of the and even though most of the kicking is in your feet, your legs push some water to. that has always been my opinion but has never been confirmed.|||speedos legskins are bad for it, because they're restricting, so i think speedos would be best, then jammers|||if you are referring to fastskins or other performance suits then I'd say to go with the jammer for breaststroke. The Brief doesn't cover enough to make the purchase worth it, while the legskin would constrict your kick. The Jammer isn't as constricting while giving you the feel and confidence of wearing a FS or other performance suit. Without a doubt, go for the Jammer - take a look at all of the championship meets you will go to, all of the breaststrokers wear them.
