How do you swim breaststroke?

Describe the breaststroke like you would to a beginner as I am a little rusty. What do you do with your arms and legs. Please be as descriptive as you can.|||Breaststroke is really easy to learn when you break it down into steps

Firstly start in streamline position arms out straight and legs out straight

this is the first step glide

next take an arm stroke keeping your elbows high and scoop into your chest with your hands while taking a breath

Then when your arms reach your chest kick with your legs back to streamline

Glide, Pull,Kick,Glide

If you have forgotten how to do the legs againg break it down into steps

Up: bring your feet Up to your bottom

Out: turn your toes Out

Around: kick your feet back and Around back to straight

Hopes this helps |||easy!

1. when you take a stroke don't pause until you reach out with both arms in front like stream line. then kick and pull. take it slow get down that part before you move on cont to three seconds in your stream line.

2. keep your hips up you want your butt elevated so you don't start kicking up and not out.

3. keep your shoulders and elbows high and take smaller strokes less rounded strokes you could say.

do this all slow practice and master before you try fast.
